Interactive White Boards & Projectors
Interactive whiteboards give students the opportunity to absorb information in multiple formats and encourage increased participation and enhanced collaboration. Teachers are also able to make use of PowerPoint presentations, images and even film as teaching tools through the use of projectors.
Students are able to hear clearly so that they can learn to grow essential listening skills in an environment that meets their unique needs. Amplification systems are also particularly effective for children with special learning needs.
Corvallis School District is a 1:1 school district. Every student is equipped with an iPad. Students are immersed in an interactive classroom environment and are able to engage in a diverse learning experience. Assignments can be submitted digitally and students are able to access web based texts, classroom calendars, and related school work from anywhere.

Classroom is a powerful iPad app that helps teachers guide learning, share work, and manage student devices.
Teachers can view any student’s iPad screen on their iPad screen. They can share student work on the big screen, launch and lock apps with Remote Control and reset forgotten passwords right in the classroom.

While the Corvallis School District filters Internet content, actively manages district-issued devices and teaches digital citizenship lessons, students’ curiosity and access to personal technology make it important for parents to monitor their child’s use of technology and reinforce digital citizenship practices. No filtering solution can prevent students from exposure to all inappropriate content, especially if they are trying intentionally to access it.
