Be Safe

  • Use two hands when carrying your iPad
  • Always sit when using the iPad unless instructed otherwise
  • Keep your iPad away from food, water and drinks
  • Keep your iPad in it’s case at all times
  • Do not lean on, step on or place anything heavy against the screen.  
  • Do not take iPads into the bathroom
  • Always keep the iPad cover closed when it’s not in use.

Minor Offenses:  

1st: Verbal Warning, Discussion with teacher to review actions on how to effectively meet expectations and avoid future incidence.


2nd: Verbal Warning, Call to Parent


3rd: Verbal Warning, Call to Parent and 3 day (in-school and/or take-home) iPad restriction



Major Offenses:

1st: Verbal Warning, Discussion with teacher to review actions on how to effectively meet expectations and avoid future incidence,call to parent, iPad taken away for the rest of the day


2nd: Verbal Warning, Call to Parent and 1 week (in-school and/or take-home) iPad restriction


3rd: Verbal Warning, Call to Parent, (in-school and/or take-home) iPad restriction for remainder of term.

*Major offenses will be defined as any intentional or malicious misconduct and/or repeated negligence to follow iPad use expectations.

**Severe and/or repeated offenses may be escalated to more drastic consequences at the discretion of school administration.

Be Responsible

  • Your iPad is your responsibility
  • Only use apps and visit websites with permission
  • Report all misuse, damage and other problems to your teacher
  • iPads are used for educational purposes as instructed by a teacher.
  • iPads should not be used during breaks or lunches unless, instructed by a teacher.
  • iPads should be brought to school each day fully charged.
  • Report to your teacher or SPOC immediately if your iPad is lost or stolen

Be Respectful

  • Do not open, change, or delete somebody else’s work.
  • Never photograph or record others without permission
  • Keep your iPad muted, unless instructed otherwise
  • Always utilize good Digital Citizenship when communicating online
  • Your lock screen should be a picture of yourself and your first and last name.
  • Only print from your iPad with a teacher’s permission
  • Do not put a passcode on your iPad. (Passcodes are set by technology staff at the discretion of administration)
  • Only change iPad settings as instructed by your teacher
